This starter was an absolute lifesaver! I killed 3 starters over 2 weeks because they would mold by day 4, but this starter was active on day 2, and doubling by day 4. After the 4th feeding, she escaped her jar! Will definitely shop from this shop again!

I typically don’t take the time to write reviews, but this genuinely blew my socks off. I live in a very cool environment in a basement suite and tried to make my starter from scratch for months and was unsuccessful. Although the shipping took longer than I would’ve liked once I got got the starter going which only took literally three days technically too, but by the third day, it was ready to bake. And it has done itself. It is such a strong starter and has made sourdough baking, so seamless and easy. I genuinely cannot recommend this product enough.

This sourdough starter was amazing! It's very active and I was ready to bake within a couple short days! The sour was perfect and the crumb makes for some of the best toast in the world.

Wonderful starter - revived without any issues and have been making bread weekly for the last couple of months. There is a website the seller refers you to that has a nice library of recipes, which are fantastic.

We tried so many different ways of baking the bread and never worked, yet we kept the starter going.. just reading the simple recipe Great grandma gives us it has worked everytime when we started using the sourdough bread recipe and not the other. The shipping was super fast. I thought I was having problems with the starter activating because it comes dehydrated and it just wasn’t doing anything so I thought let me try to see if they can help me. I had immediate customer service immediate results and as soon as I did, what they told me to do my starter started to rise and it was alive and it smelled great and I’ve made many loaves of bread and the sour flavor reminds me of growing up and getting bread from San Francisco
