Eve Sourdough Starter - Organic Dehydrated Culture

AMAZING starter! I was struggling with my first starter that I received in a starter supply box. I gave this a try and was blown away by the activity, especially considering my house is usually around 68*F. Sourdough making is all about dialing in different factors in the equation, so why not make this one simple for yourself. This starter and the help from the company took my journey from a struggle to a fun (and tasty!) learning process.

I love these starters. When we moved I gifted my starter to my neighbor since I didn’t think it would survive 3000 miles in a car. So happy to have ordered a new one from her.

I am very happy with this starter. It re-hydrated perfectly. It was tripling on the second day within 3/4 hours. Already made 2 beautiful loafs!

I ordered this starter because my niece really wanted to bake bread with me. I got her one and myself one so we could make things over FaceTime since I live far. The starter arrived quickly with detailed instructions. It didn’t take long to be ready for baking. It smells amazing. And I have to say, the bread I made with it tastes fantastic.

Help!!! Starter doubled in size just 2 hours after the initial feeding . Smells amazing and I believe It should be ready to bake in a day or 2.

On the second day right now and it is already rising. Was worried about the chunks not breaking down in water, but it wasn’t a problem at all! Works amazing, and very active. Would buy again!
